Team Spotlight: Jessica Minner
Jessica Minner is the Systems Manager at HCC. She is HCC’s person to turn to for help with technology. From accessing employee information to generating reports, and just about anything else that involves our leading HR technology solutions, Jessica supports HCC clients to help them get the information they need when they need it.
“I love that I get to troubleshoot and provide solutions. It feels good to be experienced in my field while developing skills and knowledge to bridge the gap between technology and workplace experience.”
Jessica continued, “People are confident in their knowledge but don’t know how to use technology to make that specific value more efficient and transparent to help themselves, their coworkers, and their clients. I like helping people find those links that enable them to use the technology to better manage their daily tasks, projects, and workforce.”
As a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Jessica has worked in HR since 2009 in many roles, including Recruiter, Wellness Coordinator & HR Generalist, HR Manager, and Director of HR across industries that include banking, logistics, industrial and manufacturing, and professional services.
Jessica enjoys the challenge of helping others resolve issues and overcome challenges each day to find successful outcomes, and is quick to comment that it’s all just a part of serving clients. With her resourcefulness and grit, Jessica notes that working for some tough bosses helped her learn a lot along the way.
“You can always ask someone for help, but you shouldn’t ask someone to think and figure it out for you. There isn’t anything that can’t be resolved, fixed, or worked around in business and technology.”
Aside from her role at HCC, Jessica works with people to rebuild resumes and coach them through the interview and career search process. She has a passion for helping individuals gain confidence in their value and worth in the workplace. She also advocates for her local animal shelter and is active in her church.
