Director of Compliance and Human Resources Consultant

Susan Rider is an esteemed HR executive with extensive experience in human resource consulting, employee benefits, wellness, and compliance. As the Director of Compliance & HR Consulting at Human Capital Concepts, she works closely with business leaders to develop and implement strategies that promote sustainable growth and long-term success.

Susan serves as President-elect of the National Association of Benefit and Insurance Professionals (NABIP), where she contributes significantly to advancing industry standards and practices. Her leadership and dedication have been recognized with numerous awards, including NAHU’s Distinguished Service Award, a place in Insurance Business Magazine’s Hot 100 Agents, and recognition as one of the 25 Most Influential Women in Benefit Advising by Employee Benefit Advisor.

Beyond her professional role, Susan is a founding member of the Food Secure Indy project and serves on the board of Ben’s Ranch, which supports programs for teens with mental health challenges. She holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Leadership and Design from the University of Indianapolis and is currently pursuing an Executive Juris Doctor at Purdue Global.

In her personal time, Susan enjoys mentoring, traveling with her family, cooking for friends, and volunteering in her community. An avid reader, she is always eager to learn and expand her horizons.
